Terms & Conditions for Islaira Vacations
By using this website or booking travel services through Islaira Vacations, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
Travel Services
Islaira Vacations acts as an independent travel advisor affiliated with Trevello Travel Group and works with third-party travel suppliers including airlines, hotels, tour operators, cruise lines, and insurance providers.
All bookings are subject to the terms, conditions, and policies of the individual travel suppliers.
Pricing & Availability
All prices displayed or quoted are subject to change without notice until a booking is confirmed and deposit/payment has been received.
Travel availability, pricing, room categories, flight schedules, and promotions may change at any time based on supplier inventory and market conditions.
Deposits & Payments
Deposits and payment schedules vary depending on the supplier, destination, and travel package booked.
Clients are responsible for ensuring payments are made on time. Failure to make payment by the supplier’s deadline may result in cancellation of the booking and loss of funds.
E-Transfer Payments
E-transfer payments are subject to a $30 CAD processing fee charged by the host agency's accounting department. This fee is not charged by or retained by Islaira Vacations and is subject to change at the discretion of the host agency.
Cancellation & Changes
Cancellation policies vary by supplier and travel product.
Many travel bookings are non-refundable or subject to penalties. Any changes or cancellations requested after booking may result in additional fees charged by the supplier.
In addition to supplier penalties, Islaira Vacations charges a professional service cancellation fee of $70 CAD per person for cancelled bookings. This fee helps cover the time, planning, research, booking management, supplier coordination, documentation, administrative work, and the additional time involved in processing and managing cancellations on your behalf.
Islaira Vacations is not responsible for supplier-imposed penalties, schedule changes, or cancellation fees.
Group Bookings
Group bookings may be subject to different payment schedules, cancellation policies, name change restrictions, rooming requirements, and supplier-imposed penalties than individual reservations. Clients participating in group travel are responsible for reviewing and complying with the terms and conditions specific to their group booking.
Travel Documents
Clients are responsible for ensuring they have valid passports, visas, vaccination records, and any other required travel documentation prior to departure.
Islaira Vacations is not responsible for denied boarding, denied entry, or travel disruptions resulting from incomplete or incorrect documentation.
Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is strongly recommended for all travelers.
Clients who decline travel insurance acknowledge that they have been offered the opportunity to purchase coverage and accept responsibility for any losses resulting from cancellation, interruption, medical emergencies, or other unforeseen circumstances.
Supplier Responsibility
Islaira Vacations acts only as an intermediary between clients and travel suppliers.
I do not own or operate airlines, hotels, cruise lines, transfer companies, or other travel services and therefore cannot be held responsible for:
• Supplier schedule changes
• Flight delays or cancellations
• Resort closures
• Weather events
• Lost baggage
• Injury, illness, or accidents
• Service disruptions outside of my control
Force Majeure
Islaira Vacations shall not be liable for delays, cancellations, changes, losses, additional expenses, or disruption of travel services resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, severe weather events, pandemics, government actions, civil unrest, strikes, transportation disruptions, supplier insolvency, or other unforeseen events.
